whats growing now?

i never thought this stugg was alive, during the day its all closed up and yellow. thought it was something that used to be alive, when the lights are off it opens up, i turned the lights on to get better pics, it wasn't long before they closed up.

At least a couple of theses turned out a lot better then the pictures i took of the sponges before thankfully. Anyone have any idea what they are? they like the dark i guess, and thats all i know about them.

All the white bubble things around them come out and close up at the same time as the three main pieces.

Corynactis viridis. Nice hitch hiker. I have a few of them as well, but different color variations. Red with white bubble tips, and green with pink bubble tips.

Edit: corrected the spelling had an "e" instead of the "i" on the first word.

Any info on them? they look boring and dull when the lights are on, so it kind of sucks. Maybe the rock used to be turned the other way and it was in the dark? I'm thinking about either placing a rock above it or turning it so its dark around it all the time, and hopefully they will open up during the day sometimes? What do you guys think.

How much are they worth?

from my experience they like shaded dark places. you can also spot feed them.

whats spot feeding? directly putting food into them? what foods should i be feeding?
