Whats On The Acan?

Here is my acan. I was wondering what the black dot on the acan was (one on purple acan and some one whitish one) Let me know thanks guys.

Also i think it could be flow or lighting? I have 4 t5's over a 40 and these are in sand with moderate flow?

google "black bugs reef" and see if it's the same thing... it's some hawaiian parasite that eats LPS that will white out a tank full of SPS over the weekend... "IF" they are black bugs, you need to treat with interceptor STAT!!!...

WOW you guys scared me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took a look, for an hour lol, and saw they are stiff and hard and inanimate....PHEW!!!
Anyways i also felt it and think it may be the rock that under coming through? Because these have been on my sand bed for about a week and a half and daily I flip them to make sure sand gets off of it. Now realizing it, it probly was closed while sand was on it so probly about 80% of time it was closed, maybe making it recede and rock coming through? well idk but i moved them up to rock and now they are opening like crazy, and shouldnt have put in sand with my diamond goby. Anyways thanks guys and i think i answered my question. Lol

well... you should shade them and feed them NLS pellets... try to color them back up... do you have them under high light...?

black bugs is scary... i first started seeing cases a year ago... when everyone started getting acro's from australia... they just started destroying LPS tanks so fast... it's a nightmare... crazy stuff...


i dunno what that is, but take care of them acans...
