What's the latest on the Apex Fusion ETA?

Anybody ever figure out if there's going to be a cost for fusion?

Talking with them at rap they said no cost for the basic fusion upgrade which should cover most people. They also said there might be a cost for some specialty items but would not say what those were. I asked if they would have monthly subscription charge and they said no. Now that wouldn't be the first time someone said something and later it turned out not to be true
