As the title says, can you reefers give me ideas for a center piece? One of my clients tank is missing at eye catching center piece. Im not talking about no $1000 single eye chalice or stuff like that. Something that gives the " Wow Factor" to the tank. What do you guys have in mind?

How big is the tank? Sometimes a lrge colony of frogspawn or hammer will do the trick.

The tank is an jbj rl 45g, he has frogspawns and torches already. Good idea on the scoly. I'll keep that in mind.

people love seeing monti cap colonies... reminds them of exotic reefs... even though it doesn't move or anything... non reef people would love looking at that... make a pinwheel plating monti in there...

oh, it's not a huge tank so yeah, lots of small colorful stuff would work..even a zoa or ric island would be nice. usually the stuff that gets the ooh's and aaah's in my tank are stuff that react to touch, such as clams and coco worms...when non reefing friends come over or family and i use tongs to disturb a clam or a coco worm, the look on the visitors' faces is priceless. they light up like a xmas tree...which is another thing you can tell him to get..a xmas tree worm rock colony ; )

[MENTION=2546]gumbii[/MENTION] is on the right track with maybe a pinwheel. Colorful and easy. [MENTION=2928]Tangwich[/MENTION] too with something that reacts to touch. Movement is nice too so maybe a gold torch.

Oh and I had [MENTION=2546]gumbii[/MENTION] mom as a center piece but she rtn on me
