saw this on another forum, and i always wonder when i see some of the names in here, so we will see if it makes it anywhere.

nahtanoj=jonathan
my name backwards, it was a dumb blonde joke from when i worked in fast food in highschool. my boss put my name on upside down so i could read it when introducing myself, everyone else started calling me nahtanoj.

cthetoy - I used to drive a Toyota Supra so it was "See the Toy" as in "see the Toyota" and also my last name is "Toy" as well so it has two meanings. My license plate was then called CTHETOY

This is an interesting question... I often wonder where others names have come from, myself.

My monikers have generally been military themed. Example:

Major Malfunction, Colonel Angus (don't ask), Corporal Punishment (I know, original, huh (hey, it was 10 years ago)), etc.

Captain Quirk was in reference originally to William Shatner in Star Trek. I remembered how his pants always balooned up where the cuffs hit the boot, and since my work uniform commonly does that when I wear my western boots, I thought some derivative of "Captain Kirk" was appropriate. I figured "quirk" as I am most certainly not your typical guy.

I later learned that Captain Quirk was the nickname Shatner had while on the set, I guess because of his peculiar demands (something akin to no brown MnM's, or something).

Anyway... There you have it.

Good question, Jon!

pookstreet is a play on the Chinese slang term "pook gai". If you know Cantonese, then you'll know what it means. If not, find someone who is :D
