I am looking to build a water mixing station and not sure where the best place around to buy the containers would be.

I prefer something that is opaque, as to something like a Brut trashcan.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

You usually have to order Ace Roto Mold online, but be prepared for the shipping costs. When I ordered two 25g containers 6 or 7 years ago from Rural King, I got free shipping.

Really hoping to find a place to pick them up and not ship. It's SoCal, we have everything here. If I can't find them local I will just do the 55g barrels or something from CL.

I found 55gal plastic syrup drums at a tack and feed place.. they would cut them in half and use them for water troughs.

PIG is good containers, but there is shipping.

In Gardena is Rotational Molding. But the usually only have 300g to 8000g tanks. If you catch them at the right time they may have some smaller ones. But they usually don't last long.

The Ones from PIG are a food grade HPDE, they are much thicker and more rigid. THey have a lift off lid rather than a manhole cover. Would be worth researching a little first.

Also I think for the salt container its worth investing in a cone bottom tank with a stand. This plumbed correctly really mixes the salt super quickly.

I keep looking at those. Seems so much easier too. Thanks for the nudge.

How do you have yours plumbed?
