Thinking about redoing my sump baffles, anyone know a good place to find some acrylic or glass at a good price. Prefer it to be 3/8-1/2". Thanks.

Home Depot is too thin. OSH has double-pane glass (and a better cutting system) but it's not 3/8". Call the closest glass place to you and they should be able to do thicker glass. This is totally hearsay, but when I was researching how to build my sump I saw that you don't really want to mix glass and acrylic.

Well my sump right now is glass and i do prefer glass but do you know the reason why? The only downside is that acrylic gets warped over time if its to thin. But i cant think why it would be bad to mix??

Suggest to look up on acrylic material shops around your area. I found lots of scraps for cheap at a place in Tustin, nearby coral gazer.

Eplastics in San Diego is where I went for black eggcrate but they mainly do acrylic. They have a huge bin out front with scrap for like 20-30 cents per pound.

I've browsed this place's website before. Lots of choices and customization.
