Having a little trouble finding schedule 80 pvc. Anyone know where to get it? Home Depot and lowes don't carry it. Any lfs have it?

Both places should carry it. I've bought it from both many times. If your local ones don't then just google a local irrigation supply store and you'll get hooked up. Just curious why do you need sch80

+1 on what chris said..and sch 80 isn't worth it. i did my last tank in sch 80 ($400+ worth of pvc) and wasn't worth it. UNLESS you plan on keeping the tank forever which in reefer terms means more than 5 years, i still don't recommend it. lol...here's what i'm planning on using next time around, which might be a good alternative option for you now.

That's what I am going to use on my next tank. I just wish they had different color fittings (besides white and grey)

I prefer the color of the sch 80 over the 40. I didn't think the sch80 was that much more expensive? That brs looks tempting also thanks. I'll see what the price difference is between them.

Sch80 I.D. is smaller so its more restrictive. So if your using say 1" sch40 you will get more flow then if you used the same size in sch80

sch20 FTW!!!... cuts easier, huge bore diameter, and it's cheaper... especially for drains...

and you can paint it with SEM plastic paints... any color you want... a can last a long time too... good stuff...
