After reading Cody post am tempted to get one more wrasse, but don't know which one would be the hardiest, between Red Hooded Fairy, Lineatus, laboutei or rhomboid.

my current fish list
Yellow wrasse, Mystery wrasse, Red wrasse, 2-Saddle clowns,Tail spot blenny, Starry blenny, Large female Lyterial Anthias, Flame hawkfish, Powder blue tang,Chevron tang, Scissor goby

John has as many fish as I do in a tank half the size. And I thought I had a problem.

I love my lineatus but he's pretty big, similar in size to a scott's. Maybe 6" and fat.

What colors are you lacking?

golden rhomboid is nice!! shimmering gold with purple accents (among other colors)

mine is very active and stays in the front of the tank all day waiting for attention/food.

i love the golden rhomboid, i had one before, she only lasted 2 weeks. My mystery wrasse beat her up..
That is what I was most afraid of when I read you already have mystery wrasse as they can be pretty aggressive from what I've read online. One reason I never bought one.

Hey John, a sunset wrasse is the same as a banana wrasse which is what you don't have. Is that what the LFS called it? They seem to have it misidentified.

Hard to tell from the pic due to the actinics, but it looks a bit more like a pink margin to me just judging by the face.

I'm really happy with the fish, i was at the store for an hour debating if i should just wait for a Lineatus or Labout. But in the end i just pick it up since it was 1/3 the cost of the others i wanted.

Pylei wrasse I think. Pretty John.

**looks like from cebu/philipines from further googling.
You got a smokin' deal if you paid 1/3 of the other expensive wrasses. that's what threw me off on the ID. I thought those went for a couple hundred...

Congrats on the new fish.
