OK I got one of those cad lite tanks with the cheap metric pvc, after reading about all the trouble people are having with it I decided to drill the tank out to reg size and use American size bulk heads and pvc, before I set it up, so here is my question, does anybody know where I can take this tank to have it drilled? I live up by lake arrowhead, but will drive if I have to, To get this done! thanks :help (2):

I can do it..free of charge..don't think my hole saws are any good though anymore..I would buy from ebay..get one and bring it here if you want. And bring a large hefty bag..just in case.

It's really easy, just get some saws and DIY. There's a zillion videos on YouTube you can watch to get the feel for it.

Yup patience is key but I'm with you though. I wouldn't wanna do it myself if it was a new tank and you've never done it before

There's always the chance it could break but it's actually pretty sturdy stuff..I think It would hard to actually shatter one.

But let me know if you want..I am probably the closest person to you..All the holes saws are usually metric. You just got to find the one that matches standard system and your bulkhead. Buy the bulkhead first and measure it to confirm what you need

Thanks Guy's. I called cad lite and they drilled it for me free of charge, I just had to take it to them, but thanks all for the offers and the help.
and one of these days I need to get out and down to chads shop. I will be starting a build thread on this tank soon.
