No. If you have apex-ready gear then it's a little more worth it. But if you don't, just save yourself the trouble. I honestly use the app more than fusion anyways. The only thing that's different is being able to show your controller and see other's controllers. It's cool but hardly required.

IMO, it's a big difference espcially if you have it running with your radions. Very convenient now that you don't have to hook up that usb cable if you want to make changes to your radion. No more dealing with esl!
