If I add a carbon/chloramines filter, do I run it as a pre filter before it goes into my sediment and carbon filters?

Or should I put my sediment first then the carbon/chloramines filter then regular carbon filter?

Upgrading/rebuilding my own rodi system now...

This is the carbon/chloramines filter I got

It goes after the sediment filter, you could put it after the carbon block as well or before it. As long as it's after the sediment filter it's all good.

My city water is only about 200 ppm. But Irvine does use chloramines. I purchased the BRS 6 stage RO/DI unit just for save measures.

I run the BRS 5 stage as well. I actually have 2 of the Chloramines carbon blocks in my system. I live in Anaheim and the city water here is notoriously bad. Anaheim has been using Chloramines as long as I can remember. As a general rule, I would run the chloramines carbon block. As Kenny (babyjess) mentioned above, by the time you hear about the city adding Chloramines, it'd be too late. always better safe than sorry.
