Anyone up to join a zoa grow out competition?

1. $50 entry (prized bases on # of entries. example 20 entries, prize $200)
2. Everyone will start with 1 full adult polyp
3. Competition will run for 4 months
4. Pickup frag at RAP or I can meet up with you.
5. Competition will start Monday after RAP (Nov 21)

I'll iron out more guidelines soon.

Here the zoa to grow out.

Start a name list if you are down.

I'm interested.

What are the basic rules? Does it have to stay on the plug, or can we transfer it to a stratum? Will the growout winner be decided by the number of heads, or general size?

I was initially thinking I would glue it to a large 2" disc which will give ample room to grow. Winner would be number of heads. I'm thinking total heads included babies (gets to dicey when it comes to what's considered baby, juvi, adult)

Competitions are always fun. Seems like everyone enjoys it. Plus this is a hot looking paly so even better.

2. Everyone will start with 1 full adult polyp, that I will mount on a 2" disc to give you ample room for growth.
3. Competition will run for 4 months
4. Pickup frag at RAP or I can meet up with you in Lakewood 90712. (I can also ship for your convenience, $20 shipping charge)
5. Competition will start Dec 1st and end April 10th. (last round of pictures will be April 1st thru the 10th)
6. Clear fair pictures showing number of polyps are required to be posted sometime between the 1st and 10th of every month (ie: sometime between Dec 1st and Dec 10th). Failure will result in elimination from contest.
7. Winner will be based on number of total polyps
8. Winner will get store credit to All Delight Corals (amount to be determined by number of entries). May be used at any frag swap I'm a vendor at or you can purchase from website. Store credit does not cover shipping, you will be responsible for shipping fees if you choose to buy from website. Local pickup is free. All store credit must be used in one purchase.

I think that's about it.
