Is the power head attached that's how it looks in the pic. That's a sabae right? Belongs on the sand I think usually right? I would take it out of the bag of its not melting.... Keep your eye on it and prepare to remove it.

Do you have a strawberry basket or a tupperware you could put it in with holes... That would be better than a bag.
I dont think its sabae but, hopefully it makes it. yes it still has the powerhead piece attached. that's why I took her out of the tank I'm afraid it would poison the water overnight.:conf44:

I didn't want to stress it out any more, so I just unplugged the powerhead and left it to move, recover, whatever it's gonna do. I'll keep you posted on mine, you let me know how yours is doing.

Sorry to hear that man. Mine is still hanging in there... It was torn up well into the mouth, but it's starting to show signs of recovery. The mouth is healing up, and the 3/4 of it that wasn't damaged is opening up... I think mine is gonna make it.

I've had some caught in power heads or torn as they go over the overflow. I've put them in a container floating on the surface so they get the light and put phytoplankton in their water and a air bubbler. All have pulled thru using this technique......the one that didn't make it was one that had been caught for way to long and was basically mulch

My BTA is officially gone. I even tried moving it into my 20 where it would get lower flow, higher light, and I fed it every day for a week. All that got me was high nitrates and a cyano bloom...
