I came home and as usual looked in my tank. There it was opened but way to close to the circulation pump... "Darn it she is in the pump" I tried to dissasemble the pump as fast as I could. But she is really in there. So now based on your experience, do you guys think it'll make it or is my nem going to die. Should I get her out of the tank? She is in a bag right now:butcher: I don't have any more salt mix and petstores are closed. So water change tomorrow for sure but...

If you had her for awhile and she didn't get to beat up..maybe I would say she will pull through...if its new anyway prolly was going to die anyway...she went in there to hide or get closer to lights

what are the odds of it killing my other inhabitants overnight? I had another nem die but I took her out before she began to disintegrate and poison my water. I just don't know what happens when they are injured, by the looks of the mouth she looks really bad..

Same here man. I went from a 20 gallon to a 72, with the intent of doing mostly sps and lps. No sps has survived in the 72 so far, and I've lost my favorite lps. My tank right now is mostly zoanthids, mushrooms, aiptasia, and algae right now.

I know, Freaking algae...all I know is I want koraline algae in my tank. and green and red algae GONE!! aiptasia seems under control FOR NOW!

How is your nem doing? What kind is it? I would probably take it out of the bag and put her in a temporary container with maybe a piece of live rock. I think the bag may stress it out way more. I hope she makes it!

she seems ok, I don't have a temporary container or tank right now. Well tank yes but I don't have any water mix!! until tomorrow.

I gettofied a solution


5 gal bucket and a dueto pump just to circulate water... hope it helps it come back to life. At least it won't kill everything else in the tank.

i don't think its a sabae. but I don't SABE for sure lol. It seems to be getting itself out of the last plastic piece all by itself. I'll keep you guyz posted. and thanks for all your responses.

Is the power head attached that's how it looks in the pic. That's a sabae right? Belongs on the sand I think usually right? I would take it out of the bag of its not melting.... Keep your eye on it and prepare to remove it.

Do you have a strawberry basket or a tupperware you could put it in with holes... That would be better than a bag.
