Keep an eye on the fins. If they start accumulating white stringy stuff, you might want to treat with Kanaplex in case she's developing fin rot.

To me, that wrasse looks older. My yellow wrasse that i had since it was an inch long just recently died. It kinda look like that couple of months before it died. It was in my tank for about 6-7 years.

how's the wrasse doing?

I've had a juvenile yellow wrasse for a few months now and a couple weeks ago i noticed he was flashing on the rock. when I took a closer look, his skin looked whitish. i thought that he may also have been flashing on the sand which turned it white but i never saw that. he hasn't done it again and his color went back to yellow. his face also started developing those orange/pink stripes so I chalked it up to growing pains.

I also read that he could've been hunting for food or had something stuck in his mouth or gills so who knows. :unsure:

Fish turn white when stunned or stressed so shouldn’t be an issue if it turns back to its original color shortly

Currently only acts up at night when the lights are on swims fine and eats fine
