Well, it's time for me to get back in business! I'm looking to buy a COMPLETE set-up. I'm talking EVERYTHING, i want something in the range of under $2000. Also, at least 150 gallon, but if you got something really nice you think i may be interested in please let me know. Lets talk =] Please don't respond to this with just words, pictures are a must when showing me what you got. Thanks!:shakehands:

haha, saying the price isn't much of a problem for me. Im not a newbie so i know what stuff is worth. I've been through many set-ups so i've already had my share of being ripped off. I am pretty strict about the set-up i am looking for, so when the right one comes across i've got the money ready.

Thanks, i would like to keep it in a range of about 50 miles. I wouldn't mind traveling further but i dont want to risk the life of the live stock.

not to be negative by anymeans if you are looking for a complet set up for a 150 gallon tank will find you many used bargins especially after heat waves and such. i strongly would consider doubling you budget one way or another and go all new. spend as much money on possible on skimmer and lighting(if doing a reef) a good quality stand and canopy is not cheap and better off having a cabnet shop doing it. when i set up my 150sps a few years ago my skimmer was more than the tank.. a euro reef Rc. i am interested to know your progess as you shop.

im not new to this hobby, thanks for the heads up, but i've come across many good deals with complete set-ups for under $1000, so $2,000 will get me something nice, i can wait, im not a rush to buy something, so i'll sit here and check daily for any good deals, no need for me to double my budget. I'll take it that you either own a shop or you are selling a tank?..If i was doubling my budget, i'd get something like this.

factoy.. if you are patient you may find one. i have seen some stellar deals in the past the blue moon specials. i had a friend recently scored a 10,000 set up all new for around 3000l there are deals.this one still needed work to be complete. you need to find the blue moon special. the one on ebay seems nice personaly i am leary of anyone new, no ratings, but a huge tank. no tanks for sale here. i do aquarium service for a living so i have idea what things may cost. i have seen so many tanks that people have bought and thought was a good deal to get into saltwater and can never have success when things need replacing anyways due to wear. bulbs, pumps etc in many cases. if your in the hobby already and have some good equipment that to add to it is even better for you. bulldog on inland reefs had a nice set up going not sure if its sold yet. nore the cost. i will follow your thread and see what you end up with after next month electricty bills arrive i am sure there will be a few tank sales.

Yeah, i've got tons of patients, i'm in no hurry what so ever to get a new tank going. I'll just sit back, relax, and wait for the right one to come across. Until then, i'll be watching everyone else's tank builds and doing more reading to further my knowledge about everything there is to know about reef tanks.
