Looking for a DC return pump rated around 1000 gph. A waveline 4000 or something similar would work. Thanks

Thanks, but i've already been through a few of those with issues out of the box, don't want to risk another dud.

I have a used Reef Octopus pump I think 5500 or 6500, DC controllable. It was on my frag tank and just upgraded with a Vectra. $100 fair?

But with a 2 year warranty from coralvue.

I had a reef octopus dc 10500 that died. Called coralvue...they sent me a water blaster hy-12500 as a replacement. In case you're wondering, that's a $350 pump as a replacement for a $199, 22 month old dc pump.

Does the warranty requires a receipt from the original owner?...How does it work for these? I think coralVue is very good IF and ONLY IF you can provide a legit receipt. there is no date on the pump right?

It does require a dated receipt. I bought mine from Ellis aquatics and Jayson provided me with a receipt.
