Sometimes you can get lucky at your local Petco for Gigantea's. Remember to look for the colored verrucae underneath the folds. Lately I been seeing a lot of Hybrid Carpet's, Gigantea x Haddoni.
The Hybrid Carpet Anemone will have the shaggy appearance like Gigantea but the colored verrucae underneath won't have the bold purplish blue coloration. Also, some Hybrids prefer to attach its foot in the sand or up on the rocks, whereas Giganteas prefer up on the rocks only.
Remember to look for the colored verrucae underneath the folds. Lately I been seeing a lot of Hybrid Carpet's, Gigantea x Haddoni.
