135G, Hmmm, I think Five-Six-Five (a member) was looking to sell or trade his 1/3 Chiller, not sure if he still has it. you could most likley hold of on the chiller, untill your cycle has completed. Hopefully someother people on here can find you the other stuff.

In regards to the lighting, what kind of tank are you running?
Reef? FO?

you can save some money on lighting if you are going FO (fish only) or FOWLR (fish only with live rock)

Any more questions please ask.

Also what is your current set up, do you just have a tank/stand? Is it plumbed?

I would like to eventually run a great reef tank, but I probly wont be for a little while until I get all of the necessary equipment. So as for as a lighting system id probly want the power compact or maybe a sho system?

as far as my current set up, I have my tank, over flow box going into a 30 gal sump, 2 pumps in the sump doing about 1300gph. I used this for various fresh water fish.

I have no clue:dontknow:
I think he was talking to Acrylic World.

As far as lighting, If you are going to run a reef tank, I would suggest you research T5 VHO vs. and/or MH (metal Halide) Lighting. There is always debate among which is better. I did both on my tank personally. But it comes down to user prefrence.

Also check out craiglist, I saw a couple skimmers for sale on there. Even if it out of our area (san diego, L.A) they would most likley be able to ship it.

Post some pics if your tank if you got em. Pics always make things better =)

I would probablly stay away from them on a bigger tank like that, You will need something with a higher output.

Check out the threads here, there his a big debate over lighting, It all depends on budget, prefrence, space, and heat.

Where are you located? I have some cured live rock for $2/pound. A few nice big pieces and some med/small ones. Not enough for your 135 but will get you started. I am in Upland 91784.

now you're going have to choose which ballast (e or mag, wattage) to use and what kind of bulbs (SE or DE, K) well that's just for the light, let the fun begain
