Yes.. OG bounce with those fat bubble genes.. I have one around 4 inches now and the bubbles just sad..

so let me know if you got a frag from a mother that's got big fat bubbles.

i want to see if it's genetics or water..

Green deflated during this pic.

But here’s the same shroom in a different tank.

Definitely lighting and flow changes how big the bubbles get.

I believe WWC lineage with this color. 3” plate for reference. Supposedly expands whole plate if you find the sweet spot of lighting and flow.

i thought it was agreed upon that it's how much UV light the light fixture has, and how much it's breaking apart the coral's DNA structure that causes the bubbles...???

hmmmmmm...

sweet! any baby for sale?

I've had mine for about 2-3 years now. Grown from a dime. it's suppose to be WWC but who knows.. the bubbles never got bigger than pencil eraser. I've swapped a few tanks, from T5 to MH. not much growth on the bubble.

Frag it. Use a piece of fishing line and tie it over the mushroom. Not too tight but firm. I’ve found the bubbles get more dense the more they are split.

interesting. I'll frag my big mother bounce.

so a fishing line tight? the coral should be dented down to the frag plug?

Just wrap it around and tie it off. You may need someone to help. Yeah I guess. Firm enough so it holds it down and it splits in either direction.

No baby for sale but that one is. Need $ to pay rent. PM if interested.
