I've gone through 1 file fish that doesnt eat them and handfulls of peppermint shrimp that also don't touch the stuff. So I'm guessing i'm just out of luck here... I've also tried Berghia twice (10 the first time and 8 the second time). Lost the first 10 to my six line and the 8 havent even made a dent and i'm pretty sure they just live in the back section of my AIO. Which isnt a problem as they are picking off the aiptasia in there.

Help...

I say remove the six line and let the nudis have a few months to do there thing they are slow

Or you can remove the rocks and replace them slowly. Unless you have too many corals.

Have any of the shrimp left? Also will take some aptasia if you have any to give away

Good luck!

Sorry it posted so many

I removed the six line after the first 10 berghia went missing. Then i tried another 8 berghia. Let that go for almost 3 months and like i said, not even a dent.

Have 2 clowns, goby, and pistol shrimp in the tank. Oh and a file fish that doesnt eat aiptasia. Currently have 3 peppermints out of the 8 i started with. 4 of them were so small i think the file fish ate them... I bought them through algaebarn.

I've been fighting the Aiptasia since maybe July. I did one of those NSA aquascapes which i'll probably never do again... Since all the rock work is basically cemented together i can't really take pieces out.

Soooooooooo I'm still battling the aiptasia 5 months later and I've tried about 10+ peppermints and 2 different file fish. Still wanting some "proven" aiptasia eating anything at this point.

I had aiptasia in my tank. I bought a file fish from Petco and after three weeks he clean up all the aptasia. So I keep him around.

I have 3 and they do not eat zoas. They eat pellets and aiptasia... No aiptasia for months now
At this point i wouldnt care if they ate corals just as long as they kill all the giant aiptasia... I honestly think they are so massive that they'll just eat nudis and peppermints. I still have nudis living in the filtration area of my AIO.

My rock nem is 2-3 inches in diameter in the sump and if I didn't relocate it to the display, these peppermint would have taken care of it too. I keep the shrimps in my sump and after they finished all the aiptasias they looked around for things like aiptasia to eat. They ate all my baby rock nems and also about to take care of the mother rock nem 🤣

Bummer on the babies but i'd take that tbh. Any zoas i have in the tank are basically closed up because the aiptasia are too close. The only things I have in the tank right now doing alright is 1 hammer, small cluster of shrooms, and 3 RBTAs. I wish the RBTAs would move around a bit more to sting the shit out of the aiptasia. The only spots in the tank with little to no aiptasia are where the nems are located.

I'll give up all of the above is something could just take out all the aiptasia so i can do a reset of the tank.
