I want to buy RO/DI unit that reads TDS = 0 to 5 with reasonable price. SP sells refurbished ones for $120.00 and looking for one with less price range. Membrane should be less then a year old.

Keep your eye out.. On the other forum i bought a sp. 90gpd, with extra membrane, tds meter, pressure gauge, and a handheld tds for 113 shipped. He said it was giving 0 tds when pulled offline

It was on rc in the fs. Forum... Everyone was trying to lowball the dude..

I don't get it. I would replace the ro resign when buying used. Along with other pre filters. Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy the sp one with shipping. Its what I did. Didn't want to deal with surprises coming from buying used from someone.

The spectra pure one is 125+18 shipping.. No tds meter+30,no handheld meter +16, extra membrane......

Get the confidence, and buy from sp

yes, that is why I said TDS reads less then 5 and membrane less then year old... knowing how much those filters are to replace if need it to then it's not worse buying used. the conditions can look all beat up as long as it puts out 0

I felt like when it came to my water personally, I didn't want to run the risk of getting an old or bad used system, like everything else I bought my RO/DI 6 stage new. And had to bite the bullet when it came to $340. I don't think you can put a price on piece of mind, oh yeah and warranties are priceless..
