Hey guy's I was wondering if anyone had some extra test kits laying around. Salifert would be nice.
Phosphate and Nitrate are the ones I am looking for.
I am planning on starting vodka method and want to get my parameters checked before. Thanks:fisheye:

What in the world are you guys talking about?"real vodka" in your tank? what does that do?
It is a method of reducing nitrates and phosphates in our aquarium. A strong skimmer is a must for dosing vodka. You'll need to keep your water highly oxygenated and the skimmer will remove tons of gunk.

Be sure to feed the fish more or dose amino acids. You could risk starving your corals.

Instead of posting this thread that you wanna borrow one, just go buy one for 20 bucks online.

Yea guys I know it is a risky thing to do. Luckily I have a very experienced reefer guiding me through this. He has a beautiful SPS tank and he is the one who got me into this. My plan is on dosing microbacter 7. I want to have a bacteria supplementation while I dose vodka. I am removing my refugium because of the lack of nutrients I am going to have in my tank. I do not want my chaeto to die and release any unwanted chemicals. I am starting very slow! I have a high SPS demand in my tank and I am following EVERY step of the guide on dosing vodka. I wanted to know if anyone had any test kits they are not using and they wanted to sell before I try my LFS. Anyways, I will keep you guys updated. Thanks
