Anyone got a pair of Tunze 6105 for sale? Looking for a pair for my sea sweeps.

Scammers: I’m not that bored to play your stupid game. Nothing to see here — move along!

I bought a Jebao SOW-20 last night on Amazon for $68 to test out the fitting. It will be interesting — almost “disposable”? :)

My 6105’s lasted about 4-1/2 years when I decided to replace them. Actually, Roger warrantied 2 of the motor blocks and I did purchase 1 complete new 6105 so I would have a complement of new parts.

I think the Jebao may work just fine for you. I have been using a modified Jebao pump on my skimmer for about 5 years now. I replaced it about a year ago. $100 it‘s been a great value. Then again, to battle dinos, I bought a Jebao UV sterilizer (on Sanjay’s recommendation). I know the jebao UV has worked great for many many reefers but mine, the plastic deteriorated inside the sterilizer and released toxins into my tank causing much STN. YMMV

I've heard of many success stories on the Jebao return pump as well. I have a Vectra M2 (for return) and Vectra S2 (frag tank, backup return & media reactors) so I'm covered there. Agreed on the value though -- just need a powerful pump running one mode (return water to the tank) so it should last a long time!

UV: sorry to hear. I don't have personal experiences with Jebao UVs. My UltraViolet 57w has been solid -- it will outlive me! ha

I bought 2 Sea Sweeps recently for the 360g so looking for 2 Tunze 6105s to "sweep" across an 8ft tank, supplement with 2xMP40s and a return pump. I've had Tunzes 15+ years ago and they were super reliable!

As an experiment -- for $68 (okay, $74.30 with tax) -- In the end: $150 for 2 powerful pumps that I'll just run at full blast, no wave modes anyway. Cleaning will be super easy -- just unplug from the sea sweeps and soak in vinegar. I just need to make sure that they will fit the Sea Sweeps first and go from there...

I have 2 Tunze 6125s that came off some Sea Sweeps I bought awhile back for a 250g build I never ended up doing. Sat in my aquarium supplies box in my garage until I set up an 80g.They were too powerful for my tank so I swapped them out for my 6105s. If you're interested, I can sell them for cheap. Not sure on age of these but both are working.
