Sometime cyanide does that to a fish .could be swimming eatting for days, weeks, month then the next dead. Cyanide is a horrible way to harvest btw, do u have a better pic? Is that sand thats the pbt covered in or something else?

Sorry for your lost. Dead fish can be a mystery sometimes especially if it was fine and all of a sudden died within a day. I had a powder once and it was very healthy and eating fine. All of a sudden it just ram itself very hard into the tank glass and died instantly. Hmmm, wonder that was your case.

Haha I couldn't do that to him I am going to get him fat and let live in retirement on his own 55g tank with a purple or blue tang.

Powder Blues are pron to death because they stress very easy so do the Powder Brown and the Achilles, they all have the same kind of shape also. I lost 4 and gave up.

I think if you have a larger tank with lots of hiding places that are not already taken by other fish, they have a better chance of survival.

I'm planning on getting one so would you recommend placing them first in tank or just have lots of rocks with hiding spots even if they are last.

Please don't own any more fish. You are not mentally stable enough to own animals... That's just really messed up. We kill fish to eat, I understand that, but be humane
