Xr15 issues gen 5 pro

I’ve had my radion xr15 for about 2 weeks got it used. the guy said he’s had it only for a month. I’ve been running it at 45% intensity for only 8 hours.the issue is that the fan just keeps spinning loud but the light doesn’t turn nor the led buttons on top pop up. i’ve unplugged it for a hour to see if that works and nothing every time i plug it in the fan just spins and makes a loud noise.took apart the light and nothing seems wrong and the fan is clean.i don’t know if anyone has had any issues in the pass but if you know anything can you help thank you!!!

Sounds like someone passed on a funky light to you, knowing it had issues. I highly doubt that the seller was unaware of these issues, so I would contact the seller asap.

You should connect it to the Mobius App. All Radion G5 can connect to Mobius. Reset the Light and program it. Then you can adjust the fan to be On and Off or the percentage of the fan speed.

it doesn’t connect to the app. also i can’t do a hard reset either

doesn’t let me do anything all it does when i have it plugged in the fan just spins lol.

i bought from reef2reef for $300 i contacted the seller and he said he just got it replaced at the beginning of the year

I bought one from reef2reef and fan keep running also. But I don't think it has performance issue, you might need to restart it few times as it does eventually turn off for me when I have it off. Tried contact ecotech?

isn't there some chinese radion knockoff out there? might be why it won't connect to mobius

beyond that, i'd call up ecotech and see if they can help. maybe the fan just needs cleaning?

The fact that it ran fine for a few weeks … I wouldn’t blame the seller. Try the hard reset and if that doesn’t work contact support. If you end up sending it in they only charge for parts not labor.

I agreed. Contact Ecotech support is the best bet. They have good customer service.
