Yasha goby acting weird

So I've had him for like 2 months. And he's been paired up with my pistol for like 2 weeks. I went out of town this weekend and he didn't get fed for 1.5 days. I come home and he is acting weird. Not in the burrow. He spent yesterday outside on the rocks and in the back dark part of the tank. And today I come home and he's swimming at the top of the tank???

What's wrong with him.

Parameters should be fine. Gonna do a water change tomorrow. All other fish and coral are acting completely normal

1.5 days without food is fine, I wouldn't see that as a big deal. Did you recently move anything around as in any rocks or anything to disturb his home? Or bought any new fish lately that would bug him? I also have a yasha goby paired with a pistols shrimp and the only time the yasha ever really swims near half way or near the top of the tank is when it's feeding time.. then after he runs straight back to one of his holes
