Tong's in Fountain Valley. I love his secrete back room, is so amazing corals with 1000 watts on the frag tank. They also always have SPS wild colony for sale on the display tank.
Coral Gazer is very nice customer service but a little stick in stock to shop. Lol
Vivid is very nice store but the price seem a little high.
Tom's Socal Tropical Fish-Great selection of equipment & dry goods but no nice corals for shop.
Age of Aquarium is nice and clean store.

Haha stopped by Atlantic tropical fish and wow worst store ever. All dark the people just looked angry because we were interrupting their tv show or something and their fish SUCKED. seriously worst store I've ever been to. Check the Google reviews and it explains it all. Haha but I swung by Carson and they were pretty legit. Lots of high end pieces fo sho.

Coral Island in Orange would be the only one on my list to buy stuff from now on....Tong's would be optional since it's convenient for me to go once in a while

I look for anything nice.....but haven't seen any at coral gazer....I stopped by there once in a while since it's close to my work hopping they have something in that's nice.....haven't seen any ever since they open their doors....guess my taste in corals are different from others....that's just my take....it doesn't mean they don't have good stuff for others.

I guess I must have taken all the nice stuff lol. But seriously they have everything. Ask Chad next time ur in there he sometimes has stuff in places I would never find them. If he doesn't have it. He can usually get me what I'm looking for.

Riverside Stores

Mystic Reefs is my main LFS the two brothers (Jeremy and Adam) know their stuff. Their Fish are healthy mostly fish from ORA and Sustainable Aquatics, and plenty of frags and corals. I just come in to hang out with them sometimes after school, chill people.

Elliot'sfor pets- its the hidden gem of Riverside for SW fish, but got to QT the fish or get them while their in the bags on Mondays.

Fish Fantasies- I always feel rushed to buy something when i'm in there. Pam is pretty pushy to make the sale. Her fish are healthy though, it's a place to buy nice angels and tangs for sure.

Treasure of seas- closest fish store by my house. never bought anything from the place. Owner is stuck up for no reason, real snappy.

If gas wasn't so much I would go to:
Aquriums in Motions: Haven't been there since their new place opened, but Jason is a cool guy

Socal tropical fish (Tom's) : He is the MAN when it comes to equipment, and light bulb changes. I been there twice since the new move, and i just got to say i envy all the people who live close to this fish store. His fish selection is very nice also.

Weird, then why did you want to buy a package you never showed up for!? You wanted Utter-Chaos, KO Nightmares and a Sunset fungia from me, you said you were going to come by twice, I waited around after hours, and you never called or showed up, yet we dont have anything you want?? Doesnt make sense... We have almost EVERY high end coral out there and most commons ones also, when was the last time you were here, musta been when LEN was running the place. LOL

Yeah, Tom is very cool. And I'm lucky to live pretty close to there.

Been to Coral gazers 3 times and have always been disappointed. The long hair guy has always been rude, won't be going back...

Fish Collection gets some nice stuff in, Jimmy is pretty cool but needs to get on the internet to get up to date more.

For fish, I prefer Fish Supply in HB, they always have hard to find fish in.

tong's has a good selection of fish, but have heard bad things about the health of them..

I like Socal Tropical when it comes with equipment. I bought a NAC6 there and a couple of months later the ceramic shaft broke. I explained it to Tom and he hooked me up one for free! I also like their store now that they have price tags on the live stock. I always hesistate on asking prices in all LFS not sure why...

I feel that no prices on anything means shady business dealings. Or uping the price if they think they found a sucker.

Not saying Tom has ever done that... I love his store... best equipment and drygoods around anywhere... but I'm hesistant to shop at stores that do for that reason.
