So my space monsters went from this
(mother colony I bought the frags from) to this

I had only bought a 3 polyp frag and it grew to 20+ in just a 2 month period. Bad part is, it kinda lost its color. The only recent change was from t5 to maxspect razor. The funny thing is that the person I bought them from had the mother colony under the maxspect too. Any ideas on how to get their color back? Some people tell me once it's growth slows I should see their color come back. Any other theories? Thanks guys

They grow like weeds, buy only the polyps closest to the light and facing flat seam to get colored up in my tank

Should I do anything to help them? I'm already light aclimating the tank by starting off my razor at 45% intensity. And the space monsters are at the sand bed, kinda shaded

Dose some iodine. Iodine help color up softies. Makes Yuma's fluff up real nice.
Thanks I actually just went out and bought some Kent iodide last night. Just dosed today so I hope that helps. I've never had any luck with yumas but my floridas did seem to expand an hour after I added it

your problem is you are running leds and bad leds at that. They are missing spectrum and will never look as good as they would under MH or T5HO.

+1. Went from t5s to a maxspect and same thing happened to me... 75% of my coral lost its color. I became the proud owner of brown hornets lol. Just wait till they adapt

+1, so many people trying to switch out Razor these days. I'm guessing you get what you pay for?

Mu space monsters did the same thing. My phosphates git a lil too high during the holidays. I've been cleaning the tank up and their color is coming back.

No such thing as true " full spectrum" led fixture
This whole "full spectrum" idea is just a marketing scheme. Yes leds are good at emitting a certain wavelength but if you want to know what light emits a full spectrum look at white light. "Full spectrum" leds just incorporate a couple of extra colors like cyan, yellow, red.
