I've been neglecting my 24g nano cube in my office as I have been busy and traveling. The zoas used to be thriving and now they all stretching upward and look skinny. I don't think they are starving for light as their skirts are curling up. The funny thing is all zoas are doing this: grande palyps, kedd red, eagle eyes, radio active dragon eyes, etc.
I used to ATO with kalk solution. Since I was traveling, I told my wife just to add RODI water instead to make her life easier. I don't know if drop in alkalinity will make them do this. The metal halide bulb is getting old and need to be replaced, but it shouldn't be the cause. I started dosing kalk again a couple days ago and hopefully will see some changes.
And no, I've not checked my pH, Ca, and alkalinity as I just got lazy. I will do so tomorrow.....
