I have 3 different frags of zoas and they closed up like 4 days ago and are staying closed. I checked amonia, ph, salinaty, nitrite, and nitrate. everything there is great. Any ideas? Suggestions? Thanks!

dip them in freshwater for 5-10 minutes. Make sure it's RO water.
You can shake it a bit.
If there are any nudis, worms or irritants.....it should come off.

If you have Lugol or Coral Revive, that would be great as well.

dipping in RO can sometimes stress out the zoas themselves, but the main idea of dipping is used to get rid of any pests that may be stressing out the zoas.

From the pictures, it looks like your tank is still going a bacteria cycle, I can still see some cyano. I say let your tank cycle it any excess nutrients and silicate before adding anymore corals. I would just keep up your water change routine.

we dip our zoa's 1 to 3 min and shake then vigorously and most of the pest will fall off. check for eggs. we have found that you need to do this every week for 3 weeks. we have found this to be good. if you let to zoa's sit any longer it stress them out too much.

this works for us..:)

you dont want red slime, thats a sign that your tank is finishing up its cycle though. There red slime control you can buy that will take care of it withing two days or so as well.

you have to let the tank go through its cycle. an algae bloom is expected as well as spikes. its just the process and you really cant rush it. just keep up with the water changes and you will be fine. just a heads up, sometimes zoas dont make it even if you have a well established system.
