Because it happens all the time. We as a SoCal community are tight nit we like to take care of each out (that are good people), but a lot of use have been burned b4. We will give something away for free then a week or so late we will see it on here or Craigslist up for sale.
How would u feel if u put a dresser out in front on your driveway with a free sign and your neighbor took it. Then next week he had it in front of his driveway with a for sale sign asking $100. He hadn't done crap to it either just held it for a week then put it up for sale. No imagine it happening to u constantly. Wouldn't u stop giving free stuff to people u didn't know. That's why we like to get to know people b4 giving them free stuff.
So if your offended on how we want to make sure your a good person then u can buy your corals from a pet shop like we all have.
But if u want to introduce your self and show us that your a good reefer and not a flipper then cruise out to yucaipa and I'll hook u up

thank you for explain for me. you say very true. i hated ppl does that too try to get free stuff and make profit out of that is not cool. i very new in this saltwater. i just have 5 gallon. been run for 4 month, had couple fish and couple coral. i dont even know the name of them. i want to learn more. im not a that kind of ppl you guys think. i want to buy some coral from you guy. i know you guy sell coral cheaper a lot than the store.
Nice to hear that. But maybe u should go over to the new members section and introduce your self and maybe post a few pics in the ID section and we can help u out with names too.
Here one word of advice.
You shouldn't own a saltwater aquarium if you don't own any test kits.
Test kits will help u figure out what's going on in the water. It's funny how a $10 test kit will save u from loosing 100 to 1000 of dollars in fish and corals, but some people r to cheep to by them. Then post questions like "why are all my things dying help". When I see this my first thought is "cause your a cheep idiot".

Wait wait wait. Did u see me jumping on the guy/gal! There was a few other post where people were kinda bashing. I offered an explanation to said person why the people were dawgin. So don't single me out like I'm the d***.

Very clear and well said. Being straight forward is always good to do business or have a good friendship. It might sound mean to new people or some people, but eventually they will get it.
