Update! So I talked to tech support and they confirmed that they do not open dry sides to fix them; they only replace the casings if they are damaged. So instead of wasting money on shipping my dry side back and just being told to pay $100 for a replacement dry side, I opted to order a new one...

This last time I ran GFO, I measured "a **** ton" and ran it through. And two weeks later, I think I need a **** ton more cause the algae and cyano haven't subsided.

I own an Artfully Acrylic lid for my Nuvo 20. They are pretty solid. The CNC cuts on the edges could be sanded or buffed for a better look, but they're accurate. I emailed John a long while ago about making something similar, but he said he didn't have a CNC machine at the time. So I'm guessing...

I'm trying to make an ATO optical sensor bracket by gluing two pieces of acrylic together. I wasn't sure which Weldon I'm supposed to use as there are so many. It's a very simple job, so if you know of any deals or economical alternatives to that adhesive, I'd love to hear it. Thanks!

If you are going to use gate valves, they go with the Spears. I don't know why you want schedule 80 unions though...The only things I wouldn't skimp on are a) Spears gate valves and b) Spears schedule 80 bulkheads (talk to Aaron). Everything I use schedule 40.

So I dropped my MP40 a while back and it started becoming really loud after that. Ecotech told me to send it in, even its out of warranty (3 years old). When I asked how much it would cost to repair, the rep said possibly $100. Is it worth sending it in for repair? Will they replace my dry side...

I'm thinking about it. I'm mostly interested in the optical sensor and maybe a flow meter for my UV. But I'm not planning to buy the whole kit. I'm curious to see if generic optical sensors with the unit. There's a ton of Chinese made ones that look exactly like it. Even similar flow sensors...
