Hello everyone.

I've been infatuated with clams and sps lately, and recently stumbled upon a shallow cube I had been looking for.
I was had been running a 15g reef for the last year, and stuff was getting a little too big for the tank, and I needed to upgrade it.
Most of my current stock from the 15g growout.

Maintenance
I currently dose 30ml of B-Ionic Calcium/Alk each day and feed pellets 7 days a week and mysis 3 days. Everything seems to prefer pellets though.
Water change 10% every 2 weeks with Scripps water.

Here is what I'm currently running:

Equipment
45g Marineland cube
Custom build stand by me
10g custom sump by me
Tunze 1073.02 return pump
Chinese soft white/blue leds.
enhiem 200w heater.
Mp10wES
Koralia 425
Coralife Superskimmer 65 (currently not installed on tank)
JBJ ATO

Fish
2x Occellaris clownfish
5x Threadfin Cardinalfish

Inverts:
1x blue maxima clam
6x gold maxima clam (don't plan on keeping all of them)
1x squamosa clam
1x derasa clam
1x harlequin serpent starfish
1x skunk cleaner
2x sand sifting starfish
1x nassarius snail (dunno how this guy survived living in my old barebottom....)
3x mexican turbo snails
3x hermits
10x astrea snails

Coral

Green Staghorn
Misc. Neon Acro
Candlelight Acro
Misc. Brown/Green Acro

Some close up pictures

Highligher acro (I think) coloring up nicely

Miami Orchid Staghorn

Yellow/Green Millepora, finally unbleaching from store

Yellow pocillopora and a nosy lil cardinalfish

Candlelight acro (I think, maybe someone can help me identify)

Just some maxima clams chillin'

Rainbow pocillopora

Green Staghorn, purple millepora, green apple monitopora, squamosa clam, idaho grape montipora, german blue digitata, surf/turf staghorn, and the boss of tank (the cleaners shrimp, largest thing in the tank).

Derasa clam, red plating montipora, rainbow birdsnest, and the slowest growing brown/green acro in the world (barely grew any in the last year, but seems happy).

Accidental frags

Oregon Tort

Neon Green Favia, the weed coral of the tank, doubled in size in 2 weeks.

Your going to love your s026. I did the same upgrade a few months ago and my coral coloration is much better. Be careful with the intensity tho. My s026 seemed dimmer than my old Chinese led but it definitely put out more par and bleached a few coral.

Thanks everyone. I was aiming to make it look like a reef bommie, and it came out pretty **** close.

Awesome, they come in today, so this is making me more excited. I think I might have went overkill by getting two for a 24"x24" footprint, but better than not getting enough light like my current d120.

Lol, I went the cheapo route and have one S-026 over my 36"x24", but I juice out my fixture at 100% blue and 80% white, hang my lights 15” above the water line and I mainly have a mixed reef with low light corals at the edges of my tank. 1 fixture should be enough for a 2’x2’ sps dominated tank but if you don’t like the look just crack open the 2nd box.

After I installed the lights and looked back at some old pictures, I kinda realized I should have upgraded my lights ages ago. One d120 wasn't enough. Hoping my corals color up a bit more now that the lights are a bit better.
Two of the S026s definately makes it look more like a t5/mh setup.

Bonus game - find the 8 fish in the video.

Just finished moving from San Diego to San Clemente for work.
Tank survived the move. No casualties, but large staghorn had a few breaks.
I'll have to try and meet some OC members now.

Here is an updated pic with the new lights and aquascape.
