i like it...lil more room in the tank...
Everybody has their own taste. I was only sharing my opinion. But for me, I think it's more of a fad thing, just like cone skimmers. But hey, if you like it, thats all that matters. For some reason it reminds me of hang-on aka back pack overflow boxes, or back pack skimmers. I like the look of the box inside because you can have a the return point from opposite ends and create good flow. But yeah man, your right, you get more room if the box is outside. it's a give and take.

+1
the only issues i heard is the overflow is more likely to leak than internal but most likely not with acrylic
we can always have a flat panel installed, like a divider to create a back area, just like a jbj nano tank. lol

Thanks Tangreefkeeper, I think I'm with you, it just seems like I would get a lot more flow with dual overflows. Besides with a tank this big, I am not concerned about losing space. The black overflows will also blend in my MP40's.

two over flows = 2 return pumps = higher electric bill. Often reefers get the two over flows because they want to limit the amount of power heads in the Display tank. The single over flow w (2) 2" drains sounds a lot better. J.M.O.

Cool...that makes since...I appreciate your input and tangreefkeeper also mentioned the same thing. So just to add to the confussion on my quote lets do 1 overflow with 2 -2 inch drains..... I am not worried about powerheads in the display at all....I don't want this be like my AP 24's where I am always changing something out or wishing I had done something different..
Again thanks guys!

Quotes have been sent to all members. Hope you are happy with the price. remember you are getting a wholesale price. Different members wanted different thing on similar tank sizes so prices vary.

Glass is less expensive because the materials required to build are less expensive. Keep in mind there are many types of acrylic, from High to low grades, this plays a part on other manufactures super low quotes.

Arcylic +'s:
Acrylic is clearer than starphire, it wont leak (bad seal, earthquake, or LR breaking glass), it won't need to be re-siliconed in a few yrs (you would have to remove all your live stock, lift the heavy tank, deliver it to the manufacture, then pick it up and carry it to setup again, that sucks!), it's a lot lighter to move around, and for these quote prices you better get in on this one time opportunity. I hope we can get as many members in on this group buy. Also remember PFI does not use 3/8" thin acrylic. They use 1/2" acrylic and above, plus they use better bonding solvents than the other manufactures which I wont name (found at petco and most LFS).
