AI Director experience

Does anyone have the director controller? I ordered up the wireless adapter for my sols and was thinking of getting the director to control them now. Let me know what your experience has been with it. Thanks

i had the director. It was super easy to set up and adjusting light levels is very easy. i LOVED it compared to ALL other AI controllers (which have been complete garbage for me). The buttons & wheels on the AI controllers never have never worked well for me.

I'm happy with it. My only complaint is there is no way to just turn the thing completely OFF either via a switch on the web or an actual manual switch. Short of unplugging it, there's no way to do it other than going to the manual settings and adjusting everything down.

As for they HYDRA (since you didn't ask ) I'm only moderately impressed with it. unless you want things to be stupidly blue you have to leave most of the colors turned way down to get anything close to a realistic color out of it.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not going to be switching lights any time soon. I love my sols and just am looking to control them wirelessly

Yeah the sols are wired units. The adapter eliminates them. It will clean up some of my wires
