Well, spotted something I didn't recognize in my tank and took a closer look... an Aiptasia!
I have scoured the tank with a flashlight and don't see any others, but gonna fry this one before he can spread...

peppermint shrimp are a must

ever since my peppermint passed away these critters started appearing. I tried digging these guys out but they seem to manage to bore in to the rock

you can try aiptasia X, but if i remember correctly you have (desirable) anemones, so be careful if you wander down that road

Pepper mint shrimp do work but you have to not feed them or your tank because once they start to figure out that there is regular feeding they will not go for the apstaia. Also if your are killing them and do not get them completely they will regrow and any little pieces in the water will grow into another one.

Peppermints work, they just need to be starved, and usually dont work unless in groups, thats why I recommend Aptasia Eating Berghias! Coral Gazers has some in stock...
