Anthias diagnosis

My anthias has this on him and it seems like another in is starting to get it. What should I do. I know I will have to qt but with what. I freshwater dipped hoping it was enough.

Well I would guess one of 2 things. Maybe it's scratched? Or some sort of bacterial infection. But the pic Deff makes it hard to tell for sure.

Really hard to tell from the pic because of the blue, but it looks like the scales are raised . Is there red near the base of the scales? If so, probably as Adam [MENTION=7697]LAreefguy[/MENTION] said, bacterial. Hate to diagnose without a better pic, but that is my 2 cents..

bacterial can be relatively easy to treat in a QT. penicillin would make quick work..... BUT......... confirm first with better pics...

Make sure to take it out and treat it when you find out what it is... I have lost two anthias to this exact issue! I never found out what it was so i left them in my tank and xxxxx... I would treat for bacteria and fungal with formalin and methylene blue just incase, if you dont find out what it is!
