I have one and loved it. At some point I took it out to clean it and it sat for a while. Well when I finally went to clean it the plastic had warped and exposed the insides which were rusted. Don't think I'll be buying another due to that. To be honest I don't know of it was internally rusted when I took it out or if that happened afterwards but I don't want to risk the magnets rusting in the tank. I can still use the exterior magnifying glass...just have to hold it instead of it being held by magnets.

For the rusty magnet people, call them. This happened to me and they replaced it.

Awesome but do I really want to put it back in the tank? To it's credit it didn't warp until it had been out of water for a while but I don't know if the rust happened then or was already occurring when I took it out.

Technically I'm on my second. My wife bought the first one and it had small scratches so they replaced it, no charge. I sold the old one to pgr11 at a discount (now I wish I'd have just given it to him). Great customer service but sketchy QC is my impression. I do LOVE the idea though.

I have one. I dont use the inside part, I just hold it. The magnets are really powerful, like crack your tank if you dont put itnk. Right powerful. Its a cool product.

I just use the glass on the outside of the tank. The inside thing is just to hold it mainly for fat useless people, who are lazy and probably live in an area you need ac almost daily .

Hey hello dips. I just bought a 99cent magnifying glass from the 99 cent store. Works just as good as the portal. So I sold my portal
