I bought an used tank, and the bottom of the euro-brace is very "cloudy". I think it is the build-up of calcium/salt creep. I did my best of scrape it off, and I even used a razor, but it's very stubborn.

What is the best way to clean this? Do people use any vinegar or citric acid to clean the bottom of the euro-brace? Any tips? The tank doesn't have water yet, so I'm trying to get it into as clear as possible for the light can shine through.

Soak some towels or paper towels in vinegar or citric acid so it can have good contact to the bottom of the eurobrace, let it sit for a while then use the razor blade.

I will try it. I was thinking about doing this, but wasn't sure if this is the right thing to do.
