so i am doing my maintence before i go on another work binge. i turn off all power to vortech and the battery backup did not keep the vortechs running wtf. so im guessing the batteries are toast. where can we source some batteries yes we can use car batteries but i want it to look nice and clean.

I did a mod on mine lasted 17 hours upgraded charger and battery. Also tells you when they are charged and wont overcharge. Will lake pics if u need them...

Sahn, are u sure the battery is dead? Did you shake it & lick the terminals?

All you need to make your own is a float charger, motorcycle/car battery, a 1 amp fuse and the same terminal plug to connect MP40. Float chargers keeps the battery charged at all times without damaging it by overcharging. I used a regular car battery rather than a deep cycle battery because of costs and warranty. Unless you plan on continually draining your battery to run the Vortechs then a regular car battery from Costco will do. 5 years warranty as well. This setup can run your Mp40 for days.
