I never thought I would be interested in a yellow T5 bulb, but after seeing Iconic Reef's sps tank I am haha There sps had some of the best colors I have ever seen and when I looked at the bulbs one was really yellow so I am guessing it is a 6500k? I am only familiar with ati bulbs but I do not think they make a 6500k yellow bulb? For those that run a 6500k or yellow bulb I would love to hear what brand, how many you run and how you like it. Thanks!

purple plus.... it's considered a full spectrum bulb... i know the KZ fiji purple were rated at around 6,000K or so... just that they add blue and red to cover up the gross yellow tint...

Awesome I ll look that up! Have you heard anything about the geismann 6000k midday?
We carry the Giesemann 6500K Tropic bulb. I personally think you need at least a 6 fixture bulb to use this bulb, unless you don't want the ultra blue that everybody likes nowadays.

I think the reason SPS look nice with the 6500K bulbs is because of the PAR, these really crank out the photons!
