Best way to clean dry/dead rock

Suggestions on how to clean dry rock? How do you feel about a 24 hour 10:1 water to bleach bath, and then a 10:1 water to muratic acid dip for 15-20 min?

I just dip in bleach for a week then let it sun dry for a week then cycle them in a tub.

What is your bleach to water ratio?

I did the 10:1 ratio. It worked for me.

Just make sure you let it dry out completely. Bleach should be enough

I bleach my rocks for a day then let it dry for few days once completely dry I do muriatic acid dip for few hours then let it dry again for few days.


Bleach ratio
1:5
Muriatic acid ratio
1:5

Some people like stronger but dipping it for a shorter time.

Yes sir....everything...basically done when setting up a new tank or have pest you want to eradicate.
