Hey danagui..I can't tell you what might be wrong on your end but can only say my tank parameters are dialed in pretty tight and stable and I lost a red linkia star in 2 weeks for no apparent reason. These guys are very sensative and hard to keep. They usually get stressed during their capture but the fews day they're in the LFS you can't tell. Then they take a dump in your DS week later! My red star did the same thing...started shedding his skin on his legs... when I pulled him out he was actually dumping his guts out this way...NOT GOOD. I think it's to late at that point. I'd watch closely not to leave him melt away and screw your tank water up. Good luck.

Sad to say she's on her way out. Linkia StarFish are very delicate! if perimeters are not stable these StarFish will die, the most important perimeter is temperature! Ounce it starts to deteriorate its usually to late!
