Makes me not want ever stick my hand in my tank again. Any idea how long it was in your tank?
A couple of years ago in the middle of the night after I had a few glasses of wine without my contacts, I woke up to get some water. I swore I saw a black worm near one my corals but before I could get my phone to shine some light it was gone. I thought it was me being paranoid/shadow/wine/lack of vision. Lol

I have been having issues with coral dying/missing since 2019 at least.

I swear if I ever found one that big in my tank, I pour napalm all over my car, the aquarium and floor of my own house, I then place a weight on the gas pedal of my car, driving it into my house and into the aquarium, setting off an explosion of epic magnitude. Then I change my identity, buy a new house, a new car, a new aquarium and start over.

That had to be the most skin crawling video ever!
Why haven't they made a movie about this creature? That would give people nightmares glad you got it out

How big is your tank to let it grow and hide. Also glad you underestimate length as most men usually overestimate size.

It is in a corner. Each side is 4 feet across. It is 2 feet deep. If that makes sense. But it curled up like a snake under a rock that was about a 1 foot x 1 foot in the back of the tank.

I always saw under promise and over deliver. Lol.
