Whoa! How is your RODI connected? Looks like you have your booster directly connected to your pressure gauge. On mine it's like this:

faucet---->booster input----->booster output---->RODI input (I believe this goes to the membrate) and then the pressure gauge after the membrane like he said above.

I've had this rodi for years and I always had the gauge on the input. Never thought it was wrong.

The booster pump is new. After the post above i researched and it sounds like the gauge should be after the carbon filters and before the membrane.

Also I think I am going to switch to a glycerin filled gauge.

Thanks for the help!

Me too, the gauge goes right before the membrane. For me, it is to see if the water pressure drops after the pre-filter station so I will change them. The membrane I only change every 2 or more years.

Thats how I just did it and it is working great now! The gauge is normal and at 80psi before the membrane.

Now I am trying to get the pressure switch working...

If before the membrane is 80 PSI, I don't know why you need the booster pump :); What is your water PSI from the city? 90-110?

My PSI is 50 before the membrane. Now I need the booster pump.

Mine does the same thing. You are supposed to plumb the pump right before the ro membrane, it make it more efficient. I have used mine like this for hundreds of gallons with no issues.

Gauge should be after the pump and before the membrane. Even if you have that gauge placed correctly, it is a dry gauge and it will rattle itself to death inside of 10 minutes. Get a better (liquid-filled) gauge.
