I'm not missing the point. I wasn't addressing the fact that the Apex shouldn't be update via wifi. I was merely pointing out that with an adaptor you can indeed have wired ethernet access on a Macbook. I agree that it should be simple enough to update via wifi and you can do that. It is just not recommended because somewhere in the process of doing that update if it gets interrupted, you will be unsuccessful with no way to go back.

Your both missing the point. I work on a computer 7 days a week. The last thing I want to do everyday is go hunting for a adapter or old computer just so I can update my apex. Every other device I have can be updated over the air. It's time Neptune got with the program like everyone else has.

you dont update firmware on computer over the air. computer you are able to save the firmware update on a drive on a computer. i guess adding storage on the apex will help.
