I have a gyre 150 on a long pulse at 80 percent and have loved it. Last week a small snail got jammed in the pump and broke a few blades so I pulled it out to fix it. I put a small jebao powerhead I had laying around from my last tank in for a week while I fixed the gyre. Over that week I noticed some really good growth in a few zoas and my Goni opened up even more. I was thinking of maybe switching things up and running the gyre on the opposite side of the tank facing the jebao to create a more turbulent water movement instead of the gyre moving the water in a fast circular pattern. What do you think?
