Ok. So one of my clowns is acting funny. Breathing fast and facing upwards with rapid swim strokes.

ph 8.0_slowly adding buffer to stablize
sp. kinda low_at 2.020_top of green line/glass float type

Changed Water yesterday. Did not have to add RO/DI.

Introduced a Kenya Tree yesterday. Killed a Aiptaisia today.
Thought maybe it released some toxins/So I did another WC this evening.

Just worried about my lil Picasso. Was hoping someone had some insight.

More than likely he was already sick. Could be brook if it is its a fast killer. Begin treatment immediately.

Its almost like the powerhead was to much.

Tank is a 12g nano type/around 4 yr old
70w MH. LED moons
sponge_rubble and LR in back x4 filter area
425gh powerhead.
A few stonies and soffties
good cleanup crew.
just added some tigger pods yesterday.

Maybe I should put the powerhead on a timer?

Keep an eye on it. Rid ich + will treat brook. Not reef safe so you must treat with a hospital tank. Here's hoping the little guy is ok. I lost a pair to brook hope you have better luck

If you can see any visible parasites on the skin or gills give it a FW bath with matching temp, pH and VIGOROUS aeration. Otherwise put it in a hospital tank n treat with copper ASAP. If u got it from where I THINK u got it...that clown is already a goner. You may just have to chalk this up as a learning experience and inspect your prospective purchases a LOT closer! Sorry man...your situation sucks...just try to treat with copper or formalin and hope for the best! Keep your chin up and let me know how it goes!
